In 2021, Jaeger-LeCoultre unveiled the Reverso One ‘Precious Flowers’ series, blending fine watchmaking, artistic crafts, and high jewellery into a unique expression of elegance. Now, in 2025, two new models of extraordinary beauty are introduced: the Reverso One ‘Precious Flowers’ – Green Arums and the Reverso One ‘Precious Flowers’ – Purple Arums. Both models are housed in 18k pink gold (750/1000) cases, with a limited edition of just 10 pieces each.

Since its introduction in 1931, the Reverso has become synonymous with Art Deco design. Initially designed for polo players, it soon emerged in a more feminine form, captivating women from the outset. The watch's blank metal caseback, meant for personalisation, allowed for a blend of aesthetic and function. Over time, Jaeger-LeCoultre has pushed the boundaries of decoration, transforming the case's double-sided feature into a canvas for creativity.

The introduction of the Reverso One case, with its finer and elongated proportions, offers a perfect space for adornment with vibrant colours and precious gemstones. The dial subtly hints at the intricate decorations on the back, with delicate mother-of-pearl and brackets framing the numerals in the signature Reverso One font. Grain-set diamonds embellish the gadroons and lugs, and a reverse-set diamond adorns the winding crown.

The 2025 Reverso One ‘Precious Flowers’ series features brilliant enamel colours and sparkling diamonds. The grand feu champlevé enamelling technique is used to create vivid bouquets of arums, with each flower requiring up to 10 coats of enamel and firings at temperatures up to 800°C. It takes years of training to master this delicate technique, where the artisan must carefully manage the enamel's firing to avoid imperfections.

After the enamelling is completed, diamond-setting begins. The process requires soft metal, but the pink gold case has hardened due to the heat, demanding extreme precision. Grain-setting and snow-setting techniques are employed to enhance the geometry of the case and to highlight the flowers, creating an uninterrupted surface of light and sparkle.

Jaeger-LeCoultre's Métiers Rares™ Atelier, dedicated to fine crafts such as gem-setting, engraving, and enamelling, plays a crucial role in these extraordinary creations. The close collaboration of artisans in this atelier ensures the highest level of craftsmanship, turning unadorned metal into masterpieces.

Reverso One ‘Precious Flowers’ Green Arums

This model brings together three artistic techniques, with the Green grand feu champlevé enamelling process alone requiring 15 hours of meticulous crafting. The vivid green tones of the enamel are enhanced by black lacquer, adding depth and complexity. Finally, 409 diamonds (2.59 carats) are set using snow- and grain-setting techniques, requiring 45 hours to complete.

Reverso One ‘Precious Flowers’ Purple Arums

The Purple Arums model features a stunning combination of purple, pink, and green grand feu champlevé enamel, with a total of 30 hours spent on its crafting. The flowers wrap around the case, from back to bezel, and are highlighted by snow-set diamonds. A total of 637 diamonds (2.12 carats) are set using snow- and grain-setting techniques, requiring an additional 95 hours of work.
