Rolex is introducing a striking new version of the GMT-Master II 126729VTNR, elevating the distinctive "Lefty" design with a fresh green Cerachrom dial and a luxurious white gold case. Originally unveiled in 2022, the "Destro" GMT-Master II turned heads with its unconventional left-side crown, date window, and cyclops lens. This latest update refines the concept while maintaining the model’s signature appeal.
The case, now crafted in 18k white gold, retains its familiar 40mm diameter and 11.90mm thickness, ensuring a robust yet balanced presence on the wrist. The bidirectional rotating bezel continues to feature the black-and-green ceramic insert, complementing the updated dial. Unlike its predecessor’s glossy black dial, this version showcases a deep green Cerachrom finish that harmonizes with the bezel’s lower half. White gold hour markers and hands, enhanced with Chromalight luminescence, ensure legibility in any lighting conditions. Notably, the GMT hand now sports a white-and-steel stem, preventing it from blending into the dial.
Under the hood, the Rolex Calibre 3285 remains unchanged, delivering impeccable precision and reliability. Equipped with a Chronergy escapement and a Parachrom hairspring, the movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and boasts a 70-hour power reserve. It meets both COSC chronometer standards and Rolex’s more stringent Superlative Chronometer certification, guaranteeing exceptional performance.
The watch is paired with Rolex’s signature white gold Oyster bracelet, featuring brushed outer links and polished center links. Secured with an Oysterlock folding clasp, the bracelet ensures both comfort and security.
