TAG Heuer adds an 18K solid pink gold version to its stylish chronograph model Carrera Skipper, which carries the spirit of motorsports to the open seas.

The well-established brand, which does not ignore the success of the stainless-steel model introduced last year, brings the concept one step closer to luxury watchmaking with the 18K pink gold version it introduced at the Watches & Wonders 2024 fair this year.

The stylish model comes with an elegant case that is appreciated for its closeness to the original version produced in 1967. Designed with a diameter of 39mm and a height of 13.9mm, the sporty case is made of 18K pink gold, unique to the new version. Promising perfect comfort on almost every wrist with its 46mm lug distance, the case has a dome-cut sapphire crystal, called glass-box, on the front without a bezel, and a sapphire crystal display cover on the back.

Sharing the same design language as last year's steel version, the dial emphasizes the luxury theme of the model with pink gold components compatible with the case. The time is tracked on the dial, which reinforces the retro character of the concept with its Bi-Compax chronograph arrangement, via Super-LumiNOVA phosphor-applied baton hands and markers.

The new model is powered by the Caliber TH20-06 movement, designed and produced in-house. While the automatic movement is appreciated for its integrated chronograph feature with the column wheel and vertical clutch, it elevates the model to the sports chronograph segment with its 80-hour power reserve.

The stylish model added to the standard (non-limited) collection is completed by a dark blue textile strap and an 18K pink gold pin buckle.
