Chopard Alpine Eagle 41 XP CS Platinum

Chopard is introducing platinum to the Alpine Eagle collection for the first time, expanding the line with a high-end, extra-thin model. Inspired by the success of the 2023 Alpine Eagle XPS with a salmon dial and an L.U.C movement, the new Alpine Eagle 41 XP CS arrives in bright 950 platinum, paired with a striking "Shades of Ice" fumé blue dial.

The signature eagle’s iris pattern continues to radiate from the center, stamped onto the brass dial. Applied brass hour markers are filled with X1 Super-LumiNova, while baton-shaped hands are crafted from Chopard’s ethical white gold. The dial design follows the aesthetic introduced in the titanium Alpine Eagle 8HF, featuring simple baton markers except for the Roman numeral XII at the top. Unlike previous models, this platinum version forgoes the date window but introduces a center seconds hand instead of a small-seconds subdial.

The case maintains a diameter of 41mm with an ultra-thin 8mm profile. Despite its slim design, the watch retains a 100-meter water resistance rating. A sapphire caseback reveals the impressive L.U.C Calibre 96.42-L, which is equipped with a platinum micro-rotor and twin stacked barrels, delivering an ample 65-hour power reserve. This movement, a significant upgrade from standard Alpine Eagle calibers, features meticulous finishing, including Côtes de Genève decoration, anglage on the bridges, and a swan’s-neck regulator above the balance wheel. The movement is both COSC-certified and bears the prestigious Poinçon de Genève.

Enhancing the luxurious feel, the Alpine Eagle 41 XP CS Platinum comes with a fully integrated platinum bracelet. Chopard has refined the bracelet’s design, introducing increased tapering for a more elegant appearance. The clasp features release triggers in platinum, while the blades are crafted from white gold.
