Min. ReadA. Lange & Söhne's Odysseus has just evolved, bringing an exciting twist with its new Honeygold version. Since its debut in 2019, the Odysseus has been the brand's first foray into the "casual" sports watch category, and now, it’s turning heads in a new, highly coveted material: Honeygold.
The original Odysseus quickly gained popularity, thanks to its water resistance of 120 meters, a 40.5mm case size, and the L155.1 Datomatic movement that provides big day and date displays, alongside subsidiary seconds. With a 50-hour power reserve, it offered a refined yet sporty option for watch enthusiasts. But Lange is elevating it to a new level with the Honeygold version.
What sets this new release apart is the striking combination of the unique Honeygold case and a rich brown dial, a rarity for the brand. Honeygold, Lange’s proprietary gold, is known for its shifting hues—sometimes rose, yellow, and occasionally white—making it a highly sought-after material in the watch world. The limited edition Odysseus in Honeygold will be produced in just 100 pieces, further adding to its exclusivity and allure.
The watch retains much of the same specifications as its predecessor. With a 40.5mm diameter and a thickness of 11.1mm, it features a matte textured dial, which complements the lustrous case. While the original Odysseus was seen as a more casual piece in the brand’s lineup, the Honeygold version blends luxury with everyday wearability, making it a versatile and desirable addition to any collection.
