Powered by Calibre 391, it tracks intervals as small as 1/6th of a second while displaying the moon's cycle and Night and Day. The innovative Duometre mechanism, featuring separate barrels and gear trains, ensures precise timekeeping even with complications.

The development of the Duometre mechanism stemmed from a long-standing challenge in watchmaking: complications drawing power from the barrel disrupt regular timekeeping. Jaeger-LeCoultre's solution, patented in 2007, separated power supplies for timekeeping and complications, laying the foundation for the Duometre collection. Caliber 391 integrates a manual mono-pusher chronograph with moon phase, Night and Day indicators, and a flying second display.

The open-worked dial showcases the intricate mechanism, while traditional Haute Horlogerie finishes add refinement. The dial features a three-counter layout with opaline finishes and azuré engravings. The moon phase and Night and Day displays are integrated into sub-dials at 3 and 9 o'clock, respectively. The seconde foudroyante is displayed at 6 o'clock, accompanied by power reserve indicators.
