Min. ReadTudor has just introduced the Pelagos Ultra, a new flagship model in its dive watch collection. Expanding the Pelagos family, this new model is now 43mm in diameter, a slight increase from the 42mm standard Pelagos 500m and the 39mm Pelagos 39. With an impressive water resistance rating of 1000 meters, the Pelagos Ultra is designed to handle extreme underwater conditions.
The Pelagos Ultra retains the signature grade 2 titanium case, making it lightweight and durable. The bigger case size is paired with a doubling of the water resistance, taking it to an exceptional 1000 meters—ideal for serious divers. Beneath the matte black dial, the watch is powered by Tudor's MT5612-U, a METAS Master Chronometer-certified movement. This automatic movement offers time and date functions, operates at 4 Hz, and boasts a 65-hour power reserve, ensuring precise timekeeping even in challenging environments.
The Pelagos Ultra’s bracelet is another standout feature. It continues the legacy of the 500m model with a full titanium bracelet and T-Fit clasp, now enhanced with a new "diver's extension" system. This system allows for a smooth, spring-based adjustment for a perfect fit, while the clasp now includes a luminous visual indicator for easier adjustments in low-light conditions. As expected from a top-tier dive watch, the Pelagos Ultra also offers a rubber strap option, with a wetsuit extension that provides an additional 110mm of adjustability.
