Tudor Watch Joins Formula 1 as Partner of RB Formula One Team

Tudor returns to motorsport, joining Red Bull's sister team and Rolex as the official timekeeper.

Although the 2024 Formula 1 season has not started yet, the excitement of the new season has already begun to surround the motorsport world. Watch manufacturers, one of the indispensable brand partners of motorsports, have gradually started to announce their season partnerships. Following the announcement last week of a global partnership between H. Moser & Cie. and Alpine Motorsport, another announcement came from Tudor. The sister brand of Rolex (Global Partner and Official Timepiece of Formula 1), has just announced returning to motorsport, by joining the brand-new Visa Cash App RB Formula One Team as an official partner.

Tudor is no stranger to motorsport as it is well known for its support of many winning teams in the thrilling world of motorsport, from the Tudor Watch Racing Team in the late 1960s to the recent IMSA TUDOR United SportsCar Championship. The brand, which has stayed away from the dusty tracks lately, seems to have managed to delight its fans with its impressive comeback this year.

From this season, Tudor Watch will be both the official partner of the newly created racing team RB Formula One Team, known as Scuderia AlphaTauri, and one of the two Formula One manufacturers owned by Austrian conglomerate Red Bull, from 2020 to 2023. The pilots who will drive the cars for the 2024 season are Daniel Ricciardo and young pilot Yuki Tsunoda.

The brand, which includes the Black Bay Ceramic Master Chronometer model in its media and marketing communications, does not yet have a new model designed and produced for this new partnership. However, time will tell whether the brand, which recently won hearts with its solid gold unique piece Big Block Prince Chronograph for Only Watch 2023, will use this positive feedback for new brand partnerships.
