Min. ReadIWC Schaffhausen is unveiling the Ingenieur Automatic 35 at Watches and Wonders Geneva, offering a more compact and refined version of their iconic Ingenieur collection. The new model is available in three variations, all showcasing IWC’s precision engineering and attention to detail.
The Ingenieur Automatic 35 offers a 35mm case diameter and a thin profile of just 9.44mm. This model brings the same ergonomic design and high-end finishing seen in the 40mm version, with three distinct styles: one in 18-carat 5N gold with a gold-colored dial, and two in stainless steel with either black or silver-plated dials.
The Ingenieur Automatic 35 retains signature design features, including a bezel secured by five functional screws, an integrated bracelet, and the iconic “Grid” dial pattern. These elements ensure the watch maintains its robust yet sophisticated aesthetic in a more compact form. The case is satin-finished with polished edges, while the bracelet links and case back are also polished, offering an elegant texture and light reflection.
The dial, featuring the “Grid” structure, is one of the standout features of this model, with each applique hand-finished and filled with Super-LumiNova® for optimal legibility. The stainless steel versions include rhodium-plated hands, while the gold version boasts solid gold hands and appliques.
Behind the case, a see-through sapphire glass showcases the automatic 47110 calibre, complete with a 42-hour power reserve. The movement is meticulously finished with Geneva stripes and circular graining.
Whether in 18-carat gold or stainless steel, the Ingenieur Automatic 35 offers precision, elegance, and performance, making it the perfect blend of classic style and modern engineering.
