Min. ReadFamous designer Eric Giroud, who gave life to many micro-mechanical works of art of modern times, is under the spotlight.
One of the elements that give watches their identity is their design. You know, the parts that we freely criticize and say we would do like this. We are not wrong, after all, it is a completely subjective, tasteful, and palatable subject. In this brutal industry, a modern designer has created many micro-mechanical works of art of the 21st century. Welcome to Eric Giroud.
Swiss-born Giroud has been interested in design and creation since his childhood. We can say that a curious and analytical observer is an essential part of this job. Eric is studying music and then architecture. Then, he opened his architecture office in 1989. We cannot ignore the great contribution of his wife in his entry into the watch world. Giroud's wife is the niece of Heuer founder Jack Heuer.
On the long and adventurous path of watch design, Giroud's path crosses with Peter Speake-Marin, and then with Maximilian Büsser, the founder of MB&F. In the continuation of the story, I leave you the most remarkable of Eric Giroud and his extraordinary designs.
