Min. ReadBell & Ross has unveiled the BR-05 Chrono Patrouille de France, a tribute to the famous French aerobatics team. Known for its close ties to aviation and military forces, the brand has been working with the Patrouille de France since 2021, supplying watches for the elite aerobatics unit. This latest release, part of the urban-inspired BR-05 collection, offers a sporty yet refined design, catering to the pilots’ needs with a chronograph function.
The Patrouille de France, founded in 1931 and part of the French Air and Space Force, is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious aerobatics units. Its pilots perform precise aerobatic displays, including opening the Bastille Day military parade. The new Bell & Ross watch draws inspiration from the team’s dedication to precision and skill.
The BR-05 Chrono Patrouille de France features a 42mm stainless steel case with a 14.25mm height. The case maintains the familiar design with brushed surfaces and polished bevels, a sapphire crystal, and a screw-down crown. Water resistance is rated at 100m.
The standout feature is the dial, which showcases a light blue sunray-brushed base, contrasting dark blue accents on the sub-counters and tachymeter scale, and a unique Patrouille de France logo at 6 o'clock. The watch also includes applied numerals and hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova, ensuring excellent legibility.
Powered by the BR-CAL.326 automatic chronograph movement, based on the Sellita SW510, this watch offers a 60-hour power reserve. Available on a steel bracelet or dark blue leather strap, the limited-edition watch is limited to 500 pieces and is now available for pre-order, with deliveries starting on February 25.
