Min. ReadRolex, one of the highly anticipated brands of the Watches & Wonders 2024 fair, made an unexpected move and introduced the 18K yellow gold version of Deepsea, the flagship model in the professional diver watch segment.
Deepsea, which has reached its most refined state with three different revisions since its introduction in 2008, attracted great attention with its new model showcased at the Watches and Wonders 2024 fair. The leading model of the famous brand in the professional diver watch segment has an 18K yellow gold version as of this year. This new version, which is not in harmony with the Ultimate Diving Watch character of the model family, seems to impress many luxury watch enthusiasts, especially 18K yellow gold lovers.
The new model technically shares the same features as the current Deepsea. The sporty case, designed in 44mm diameter and 17.7mm height, is produced from 18K yellow gold, specifically for the version. Offering a 3900M water resistance rating, the case has a blue ceramic enamel bezel with yellow gold-filled indices and a 5.5mm thick sapphire crystal on the front. Also specific to the model, the inner bezel is also made of blue ceramic material.
The model is accompanied by an Oyster-style bracelet made of the same material as the case and has a blue dial and yellow gold indexes. The elegant model is powered by the automatic Caliber 3235, which can offer up to 70 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
The list price announced for Rolex Deepsea 136668LB 18K Yellow Gold is CHF 49,900.
