Grand Seiko unveils the SBGE307 Tokyo Lion, a new addition to its Sport Collection featuring a Spring Drive GMT movement. Inspired by the brand's iconic lion symbol, this timepiece combines precision, elegance, and robustness in a captivating design.
Following the success of previous models like the SBGA403, the SBGE307 continues the legacy of the "Tokyo Lion" series with its powerful angular case and distinctive dial texture resembling a lion's mane. This model marks Grand Seiko's commitment to quality and innovation since gaining independence from Seiko in 2017.
The SBGE307 is the first GMT model in the Sport Collection, powered by Grand Seiko's hyper-precise hybrid Spring Drive movement. Its aggressive and angular case, crafted from hardened titanium, measures 44.5mm in diameter and 14.3mm thick, ensuring durability and comfort on the wrist.
Signature Zaratsu polishing enhances the dynamic design, while the fixed black 24-hour bezel with Lumibrite numbers adds functionality and style. The ivory-white dial features organic brushed strokes mimicking a lion's mane, with Lumibrite-filled hour markers ensuring readability in any lighting condition.
Driven by Grand Seiko's unique Spring Drive caliber, the SBGE307 delivers impeccable accuracy and a silent, smooth seconds hand movement. With a robust 3-day power reserve, this timepiece is built to endure the rigors of daily wear and travel.
Unlike its predecessors, the SBGE307 Tokyo Lion is not a limited edition, offering enthusiasts the opportunity to own a piece of Grand Seiko craftsmanship. It will be available from 1 August 2024 at Grand Seiko Mastershops, Salons, and Boutiques.
